I have a couple of questions about my Piwigo gallery, which I’m trying to clean up. I’ll separate them into two separate posts.

I have a home page configured with the Additional Pages plugin, which includes an automated slide show that uses Carousel function of the Extended Description plugin:

I want users to be able to click on the photo displayed in the carousel, so I have set title=true. This does  what I want, but it’s not especially attractive and I’m wondering if there is a way to customize the title by:

1. Changing the font style, size, or color with CSS
2. Changing the background opacity
3. Having the title fade to match the photo instead of jumping halfway through the fade
