Hello/Hi/Greetings,
The new search in Piwigo 14 is a significant improvement, but for us it doesn't seem to work for the Image id. It is not available as an option under 'Choose filters'. Is this by design or have I missed something I need to configure?
Sometimes a false search result appears when the combination of digits entered is part of the filename for instance.
Background: in our organization users without download rights can request the original by sending an email to the administrator. Part of the collection is copyright protected and only allowed in certain publications. The user refers to the one thing that uniquely identifies an image: the 'Image id' field that they see in the ImageInfo block.
Searching this forum I found a 10 year old request for this functionality, but it is unclear to me how that ended. The link to 'ticket 3139' doesn't work anymore.

I solved this by creating a custom search engine in Chrome for my site:
https://peu.net/cuchillos/picture.php?/%s and assigned to it the shortcut P
so in chrome address bar I put:
p 10175
it gets translated by Chrome as
https://peu.net/cuchillos/picture.php?/10175
To easily find the imageid, I created a plugin (PEU overlay) that shows it as a red rectangle in a corner of the photo
