Hi everyone,
I’ve recently started using Piwigo to organize and showcase my growing photography collection, and I’m absolutely loving the platform so far. However, I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock when it comes to customizing themes, and I was hoping the community could lend a hand.
Currently, I’m using the [insert theme name, e.g., “Bootstrap Darkroom”], and while it’s great out of the box, I’d like to tweak it further to match the aesthetic of my website. Specifically, here’s what I’m looking to achieve:
Header Customization: I want to replace the default header with a custom image that resizes dynamically for different screen sizes. Does anyone have advice on the best way to implement this?
Homepage Layout: I’d like to feature a mosaic-style gallery on the homepage instead of the default layout. Are there any plugins or CSS tweaks I should be looking into?
Font and Color Adjustments: I’m trying to integrate a Google Font and update the theme’s color scheme to match my branding. I’m not sure where to locate the relevant files or how to structure the CSS overrides.
I have basic experience with HTML and CSS but limited knowledge of PHP, so I’d appreciate explanations that aren’t too advanced. If there are any existing guides or forum threads that address these points, links would be incredibly helpful.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise. I’m really excited to learn more about customizing Piwigo and making it the perfect fit for my photography showcase.
Looking forward to your suggestions!
