[this probably started ages ago, finally got annoyed enough to ask about it].


I have noticed an issue with uploading from Shotwell to Piwigo. When I choose Publish, Shotwell will say "Fetching account information", give me a list of albums. I select the album or create a new one, then upload. Shotwell processes the images locally, and then, perhaps 1 time in 5, I will get a dialogue asking me to log in to Piwigo. I then have to repeat the previous step, and usually at that point it works.
When this happens I see a 401 response to POST to ws.php in the web server logs. No 401 response when it works.

Why would this work sometimes but not others?
