Thank you for taking time to read. Hats off to all Piwigo creators and contributors for the excellent work. I have beat the crap out of Piwigo and it always comes through big. It is like going to Chik Fil A.
Anyway I have a very large site. I am ftp uploading, synchronizing and all of it. The site itself is just giant and I need to do some maintenance and be certain I will not mess anything up, and improve the sites usage for the visitor.
It is on its own dedicated server right now by itself so I can make any necessary adjustments from that side. I am more concerned about what I can do in the maintenance area of Piwigo, or better yet what I should be doing. And even how often.
Appreciate any help you can offer. I am simply trying to make sure I do the right things here to keep smooth operation over such a vast site. Cache size all the way to how often I should run it etc. any help greatly needed.
182,300 photos 209 albums 11.4M seen 585GB used 11 plugins 2 groups only 11 users (not really user based for login)
If you have tips about plugins or anything I am all ears. Or eyes. :)
Is there a description of what each item means in the maintenance section? I am simply an idiot when it comes to this and do not want this whole thing to crash on me.
