Configuration - Parameter settings for iOS app

Hello everyone,

I wanted to find out if there are any parameters that can be specified for rolling out the PIWIGO app with an MDM solution, for example?

For example via Intune.

The values for the server URL and the user name would be interesting.

Is there any information on this yet?

I haven't found anything at: https://doc.piwigo.org/.

Thank you.

Kind regards

Re: Configuration - Parameter settings for iOS app

Hello,

I am not an expert of MDM solutions but according to Apple's documentation, the iOS app must be able to manage notifications sent by the MDM server.

Today, the iOS app does not provide a way to be configured remotely from a MDM server but that seems feasible. However, such development would require a MDM server for testing which we don't have now.

Kind regards

Re: Configuration - Parameter settings for iOS app

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

In our case, we are using Microsoft's MDM solution -> Intune.

This MDM management system is one of the largest and most widely used solutions on the market.
(There are, of course, many other solutions)

It might be a good idea to address this topic (MDM) in a business context as well.

It would certainly be an added value for the application if configurations could be pushed, or if OAuth could even be implemented in the context of Microsoft environment.

How high or good are the chances that something could happen there in the near future?

Kind regards
