Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

Thanks for the credentials.

Your hosting is a nightmare.

You have 2 databases :

* first database "natureblinkcom" (username=natureblinkco001) you have all Piwigo databases twice. With "piwigo_" prefix, and another 27 tables with "phpwebgallery_" prefix. But this is not the database used by the Piwigo currently installed on natureblink.com/galerie

* second database "natureblinkcom01" (username=natureblinkco002) you have the tables currently used by your Piwigo. It was installed from scratch on November 21st 2025 with Piwigo 15.7.0 and then updated to 16.0.0 on November 25th.

In order to access this second database, I had to change its password in your hosting provider panel. Unfortunately, it broke the access of Piwigo itself. The credentials used to access the database with PhpMyAdmin is not the same as the credentials you use to access from PHP. In your Piwigo file local/config/database.inc.php the base is "novy_natureblink_com", the username "natureblink.com". Obviously not the same as the one provided in your provider panel. That's a nightmare I'm afraid! I have no idea how I have to re-configure your Piwigo to access your database :-/

Where do you find the credentials to use in your PHP applications to reach the database ?!?

I've been working maybe one hour on your hosting and I won't do much more. It's overly complicated. As if the hosting provider is making things complicated just to make sure you pay for the service or something like that.

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

Oh..... I don't understand what I have to do.

Maybe can be helpful to delete all data, all piwigo and use a new one? I have .sql file from my old provider (they made dataset natureblink_com novy_natureblink_com).

Another possibility is to ask my new provider to clean all databases, to install a new Piwigo and use novy_natureblink_com.sql file to install the old database? What is your opinion?

However, I really appreciate your time spent on my problem.

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

how on earth do you get the database credentials to provide to Piwigo to reach the database? I've been searching. No solution found.

Once I know that I may be able to import database and use it.

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

Oh my god. I don't know. My provider took it, and at the time, I was happy he did. I suppose that task was relatively simple - he installed a "flat" Piwigo.
Sorry

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

So I will ask the provider. I need to know "database credentials to provide to Piwigo to reach the database"?

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

Hello. I, too, am a long-time user to Piwigo and having the same problem described here. My ISP stated this when I contacted them:

[22-Dec-2025 16:27:47 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught mysqli_sql_exception: Table 'travelerpix_piwi864.piwiiy_sessions' doesn't exist in /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php:132
Stack trace:
0 /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php(132): mysqli->query()
1 /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/functions_session.inc.php(139): pwg_query()
2 /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/pwgsession.class.php(16): pwg_session_read()
3 [internal function]: PwgSession->read()
4 /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/common.inc.php(157): session_start()
5 /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/index.php(11): include_once('/home/travelerp...')
6

thrown in /home/travelerpix/public_html/piwigo/include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php on line 132

I have verified that the "piwiiy_sessions" table doesn't exist indeed and it's not an issue with how the website operates.

Since the account is over 20GB we don't have a backups for the user, but if you have one for the database, it can be imported via the phpMyAdmin tool of the cPanel dashboard.

He also suggested I contact Piwigo support before proceeding because I am very much out of my element here.

I did find the backup but don't know how to proceed from there. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Randye J.

Re: [resolved] database problem - please, help me!

Also, I have another, older Piwigo page at http://singin1.com/piwigo/. It appears to be running fine at present.
