New bug fixing release 16.2.0 for Piwigo before the end of year 2025! In addition to bugs fixed, Hannah has implemented some configuration settings to customize the new Standard Pages (sign in/register/profile pages) : you can easily change or hide the logo and select another colorscheme. No need to write CSS custom rules.

New configuration settings for the Standard Pages, introduced in version 16.0.0
Piwigo 16.2.0 release note

The dashboard shows me that 16.2.0 is available, but when I go to the core update, it shows me that "You are running the latest version 16.1.0"
I must say I have updated the extensions first, which might be the problem ...

Log out and sign back in. The "you are running the latest..." might be just a matter of user cache.

Logged out and in again, and still the same problem.
The Dashboard tells me that I need to update, but going to the update page it tells me 16.1.0 is the latest.
:-(
Very strange
After updating to version 16.2.0, I get the following error message when I click on a gallery image:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Found unconstructed IntlDateFormatter in /var/www/vhosts/pfotenforum.ch/httpdocs/include/functions.inc.php:890 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/vhosts/pfotenforum.ch/httpdocs/include/functions.inc.php(890): IntlDateFormatter->format() #1 /var/www/vhosts/pfotenforum.ch/httpdocs/picture.php(861): format_date() #2 {main} thrown in /var/www/vhosts/pfotenforum.ch/httpdocs/include/functions.inc.php on line 890. Does anyone know what this means?

Very strange
I've found a situation where this can happen. You may have been blocked from receiving the correct list of available versions of Piwigo from piwigo.org. This was designed on purpose for some Piwigo asking for a new version thousands of times. I suppose this is not your situation but you may have just exceeded the maximum number of allowed requests. The block lasts 24 hours.

Thanks for looking into this, but it seems not to be the block. I was now several days offline (traveling) and defeinitely didn't check piwigo for new updates.
I have tried it now, and it still the same behavior.
My server is preining.info that would be checking for updates.
I had the same strange experience, but with a former version. After updating to 16.0, the Dashboard told me, 16.0RC3 would be available and i should "upgrade". Never ever installed a beta or RC Version and never manually checked for Updates once. It went away, after updating to 16.1. Never happended before nore after. And only on my primary installtion. The secondary was not affected.

Piwigo saying a version RC is available to update a stable version. Very very unexpected! The RC versions are not even listed by piwigo.org/download/all_versions.php :-)

this is why i found it extremely bizarre. but i`m 100% sure about it. i thought about doing a screenshot and to post it, but as this has been more a cosmetic issue and was a once in a lifetime-experience, i decided to ignore it. and it went away in the end.
it`s too late to reproduce it, as i no longer have backups of this time. if this happens again, i`ll make a screenshot.
maybe a problem within the translation or language-file at this time?
