new plugin : Galleries Link Manager

Hi

This plugin is for people who self-host their Piwigo files on a NAS or PC.

If your photos/videos are in a 'Photo' or 'Video' directory, to display them with Piwigo you must import them into '/.upload' or copy them to './galleries' and synchronize them.

To avoid duplication of photos/videos, you can create symbolic links in './galleries', which will point to your physical directories.

For a NAS, for example, this requires connecting to the NAS via SSH and using PuTTY to create the symbolic links with the appropriate Linux syntax.

The 'galleries_link_manager' plugin makes managing these links very easy.

The plugin adds a 'Symbolic Links' tab to the menu: Administration > Tools > Synchronize.
In this tab, you get a list of existing symbolic links, and you can:
. create
. delete
. Edit them

Two checkboxes allow you to limit the target directories of symbolic links.

New in version 1.5: In the 'Synchronize' tab, the directory list, which was previously displayed flat, now displays as an expandable/collapseable tree.

Re: new plugin : Galleries Link Manager

I don't really use the Synchronization tab anymore since I switched to AlbumPilot, but I'm wondering if you should make the changes to the directory listing an option? It seems odd to have your plugin, which adds the new "Symbolic Links" tab to also make changes on a different tab.

Not a big deal, just a suggestions.
