grum made one for previous release (PhpWebgallery 1.7) but because the template engine has been changed, you can't use it.
Maybe grum is able to publish a revised version asap.

Currently, the plugin may works for Piwigo 2.0, but upgrade management (from 1.7 to 2.0, or 2.0 to future x.y) isn't tested and 100% approved.
For this reason, the plugin isn't published yet on the extensions.
The plugin is released in the subversion depository (http://piwigo.org/dev/browser/extensions/mypolls).
If it's necessary, I can post an alpha release in PEM (but I don't have enough time to assume it...)
To install it, you need to install the last "grum plugin class" plugin before (you can install it from the admin plugin management interface).

thanks grum
i just installed and tested wee bit.
i seems to work OK, so far no problem except that i could not find an option to completely delete a poll.
as will it will be nice if there is an option to show a specific poll options directly on the main page instead of clicking a link and going to option page
i.e show poll id #?? on main page under the existing poll links
thanks
QUICK EDIT::
the text [!A] is appearing before the first poll link
is there any option to move up/down a poll.
in my case poll # 2 is appearing first on the main page

the [!A] means that the polls is not active.
A non active poll [!A] or a not published poll [!P] are invisible in menu for standard user, but administrator can see them (allows you to take a look on polls before giving access to visitors).
If a poll is not active, only administrator can use the poll.
If a poll is not published but is active, only the administrator can see the poll in menu, but everybody can answer the poll with a direct link.
Sorry, there is no option to up/down a poll in the list =>I write this idea in the todo list.

I'm not sure to understand, but for your poll :
1/ set the published state to "NO" ==> poll will not be visible in the menu
2/ set the activated state to "YES" ==> poll will be accessible
3/ with the plugin PWG Stuff, made a personnal block ; inside this personnal block write something to invite user to answer your survey, and put a direct link to the poll in these text.
Having the poll's form directly accessible in the main page (in a personnal block) is not possible => I write this idea in the todo list.
