Anyone continued on the original user upload dir extension yet?

This is  a must for my gallery because Im getting nearly 2000 hits daily, and users signing up like mad to post their pictures from a game on facebook called farmtown. People take pictures of their farms and then upload them to teh gallery.

I have to manually create these directories..And its getting harder...

Then once Ive created their directory, they cannot upload to it because I have it off, because then anyone can upload into anyones directories...And I know about groups etc, but it doesnt work for what I need.

All I want is a system where when a user SIGNS up, a directory for them is created, and then when they upload more from their account it goes into their directory..Saves me having to do it for every single person every single day...
