without it losing its hits data and ratings data?

You see, Each member I have has their own folder to upload into. And I have a queded uploads folder for new uploads I leave in there so those people can get hits, then I move them after a week into their own folders. But when I move them (using my FTP program), they lose all data like hits and ratings in that week. I would like to keep this info for them.

Is that possible.?
