Hi guys
I'm not able to run Ploader on my Gentoo 64b.
Any instructions on how to do it ?
When I try with the tar.gz, I get the following error:
The required ImageMagick libraries are not installed or not installed properly.
Well, ImageMagick is installed on my computer. But I guess your 64b problem is still not resolved ?
When I've tried with the SVN
But this time I got the following error:
perl /home/dudumomo/pLoader/src/ploader.pl
Can't locate Wx.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at /home/dudumomo/pLoader/src/ploader.pl line 23.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/dudumomo/pLoader/src/ploader.pl line 23.
Ralala...
I really would like an easy software to rotate all my pictures, and upload them.
(Well, I can do it manually...but I'm scared to do it with 500pics :) )
But I didn't try the dikigam software...and I don't really want to do so..this will require to install a lot of qt lib on my Gentoo.
Anyway, thanks for your help !
Keep on the great job !
Hi dudumomo,
Try this:
cd /home/dudumomo/pLoader/src perl ploader.pl
(I run Ubuntu 64bits myself)

Hi plg
Thanks for your answer.
Well, I still get the same problem.
Quite normal your command should have the same effect than mine.
Then, I'm going to check a bit about this error "Can't locate Wx.pm" on google...

EDIT : Well...may be because I didn't emerge Wx-Perl-ProcessStream
I will try to compile it then.
Okay...now I still need another package I guess, as I'm missing Fast.pm
Can't locate Class/Accessor/Fast.pm
I use cpan utility to install perl packages :
>cpan
from the cpan command line :
cpan>install Class::Accessor::Fast

Great !
Thank you !
This has corrected my error.
Now I need to install Slurp, HomeDir (ie File-Slurp, File-HomeDir)
But also:
- JSON
- LWP-UserAgent-Determined
And now I got a problem with "Can't locate Digest/MD5/File.pm"
(I already have perl-Digest-MD5 and Digest-MD5)
It should be something else then...

Digest::MD5::File is another Perl module.

Ah..thanks (I don't know anything about Perl...)
And wooaah ! After that and installing ExifTool...Here we go !
Thank you so much !!
Yahooo ! Let's try this software then !
Sorry if I'm still posting in this thread, but how can I rotate my pictures ? Some pics are not rotated correctly.
Thanks you

Please open another topic :-)
I set this topic as "resolved" (because pLoader seems to be running fine on your Gentoo 64 now)
