Can you specify the tag you want to add?

There is no specific meta tag for different Search Engines. There is only common meta tag for keyword and description used in head section of the site code.
<META name="description" content="a description of your page">
<META name="keywords" content="a, list, of, keywords">

I supposed that meta keywords have more meaning to the SEO engines compared to the Piwigo "tags"?
And also if I copy/paste my image description into the meta page description it will be looked at by the SEO engines more favourably?
