ezeben20, when you say SOME thumbnails, you mean that you can see some thumbnails correctly and other thumbnails not correctly?

I have tested with:
* Linux Firefox
* Mac Firefox
* Mac Safari

And no problem at all. (I have no Windows available right now)

works : upload/2010/06/02/thumbnail/TN-20100602104044-c9f881fd.jpg (added with pLoader I suppose)
doesn't work : galleries/North_American_Landscapes/thumbnail/TN-0301312.JPG (added with synchronization)

I think the problem is related to the case but I'm not sure.

The photos that do not display in IE8 use the CMYK colorspace : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1204 … ut-not-ie8

I made a test with your 0301311.JPG file : http://ron.piwigo.com/picture?/542/category/53-capture : same issue in IE8

and then after RGB conversion : http://ron.piwigo.com/picture?/543/category/53-capture : is correctly displayed in IE8

I made the conversion with ImageMagick.

Thank you I think the problem is the color format of the picture, because all the pictures that can be seen are RGB and the ones that cannot be seen are CMYK. I will changed them manually to RGB does anyone know any sofware that can corvert it in Batch

The Bach Queue Manager in Digikam can do this ... among many other things.

ImageMagick does it with its convert command line tool :
