How to change the theme?

I use Piwigo 2.0.4. I have downloaded a theme, uploaded it to template/yoga/theme, selected it in the default display, but nothing changes. I can't find any info on the forum to help me. What did I do wrong?

I also tried to change the theme using one of the available themes (clear, wipi, Sylvia,...), but nothing happens?

Where can I find specific instructions on changing the looks of my site? Thanks in advance.

Re: How to change the theme?

The easiest way: upgrade to 2.1.1 first.
Then you can download/insta/activate any theme straightly from the admin interface.

The themes management is now fully automatized, but from the 2.1.1 on.

I'm trying to install the Piwigo Auto Upgrade plugin bit I'm getting the following error:

An error occured during extraction (path_creation_fail).
Please check "plugins" folder and sub-folders permissions (CHMOD).

I've set the permissions to 755

Depending on the way your web host runs the web server, you may need to set permissions to 777 on the "plugins" directory.
