Re: Miniaturizador

Sorry to be a bit technical (we will create another topic for user related questions), but did you use the Piwigo web API to add photos? or FTP? did you use pwg.images.add or pwg.images.addSimple?

Re: Miniaturizador

Well, the first step to do is... export the gallery, at this time... 'Miniaturizador' will take all of the pictures who resides inside a directory structure (called 'gallery'), and will create the 'exported images' wich will be as maximum size as we desire... the second step is to synchronize between local generated gallery (for example, imaxes with maximum height or with equal to 640px) and remote (server) gallery.

On first step, if we mark as 'Compatible con Piwigo', 'Minitaturizador' will generate an image miniature (640px as before), and inside this directory... another one called 'thumbnails', wich will contain the 'miniature' (named TN-originalfilename), but squared and without watermark... (128px). All files and directories must be ASCII chars without spaces and without special chars.

After that, we use FTP to synchronize local and remote directories, if file are differents (in size), we'll overwrite, if file doesn't exist locally... it will be removed from server and if file exists locally but not in server... we will copy this files to server...

The last thing to do is login into Piwigo and 'synchronize' the gallery with the database...

I hope I explained well ...

Re: Miniaturizador

Hi Javier Pais,

I've installed miniaturizador on my Ubuntu desktop, and it seems to work fine. How do I switch from Spanish to English? (unfortunately I don't understand a single word of Spanish)
