Marvy, one of the quick ways is just to edit respectable template file directly and extension works too. =)

I strongly recommend to avoid modifying core template files, or else you will loose your changes on next Piwigo upgrade. If you really want to modify template files, either use template extensions or duplicate them in your own theme.

plg, that's true, it is not the best development practice, but easy way to help somebody to get started. Especially when somebody just testing platform. =)

Best wishes!

I've been searching how to do that but didn't find the files I have to edit, could you give me a tip where to search, please?

Re: advertisements on piwigo

1) install/activate [extension by plg] PWG Stuffs from screen [Administration > Plugins > Manage]

2) open [Administration > Plugins > PWG Stuffs > add a module]

add Personnal block

in the Module options paste the code

Plugin is outdated for the current version of Piwigo, or at least it doesn't work for me.
The link it creates in the Plugins Menu is:
http://art.politeia.in/admin.php?page=plugin-PWG_Stuffs
Which is incorrect and should be something like:
http://art.politeia.in/admin.php?page=p … /admin.php from what I can see from other plugins. Also running the last url gives me error:

Code:

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in /politeia.in/art/plugins/PWG_Stuffs/admin/template/manage.tpl line 19]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'footer_script' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590) in /politeia.in/art/include/smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1093
