Hey thanks for the fast response. There is good news and bad news. The good news is that the bbCode focus works great. Now the bad news. I installed the SmilesSupport and all I see is little ? boxes where the smilies would be.
Again I am running a fresh install of piwigo 2.2.0

could you verify the configuration of SmiliesSupport ?
perhaps the update breaks the directory configuration :(
note : there are three different smilies folders by default
plugins/SmiliesSupport/smilies (the original one)
plugins/SmiliesSupport/smilies_1 (new)
plugins/SmiliesSupport/smilies_2 (new)
and please give me a link to your site

From what I see you have released a version for 2.2.0, would that version work for 2.1.6 ??
edit: nevermind, I've just upgraded to piwigo 2.2.0 and will post results in a moment.

Bummer just found a "feature" in the module. When you mouse over the font color box and the little boxes with various colors pop up if you actually click the font color box on the menu bar a new window opens instead. I am not sure this is the desired action.

Just checked and the three directories are there and the smilies are present and I can even display them directly when I use a web browser and go right to the directory and filename
