Go to Administration -> Categories -> Properties -> tab upload
You don't authorize categorries ;-)
If you allow a category, users will see the addition of links

When I checked there earlier the categories where not in there! Even just now when I made you admin and logged out just in case in would cause some conflict...
...I am baffled, truly I am.

I have similar problem. In order for me to see the upload link is when the option available in physical local categories. I've located all categories is under virtual option so, How can i change option from virtual categories to physical local categories? Or should i create a new category and put it under physical local? How?

I figured it out, i didnt have folders under my galleries on the physical server.
Can anyone direct me in the direction of "is it possible to turn the author comment field into being able to be a link if entered in as url"?
