I need to have the functionality to have my thumbnails pop up with a larger preview of the image when the mouse hovers over it. Can anyone please help me with this? Need ASAP...Thanks!!!

Hello! I apologize, I meant no offense and will certainly rectify that.

As far as the website you referred me to, yes that is similar to what I'm looking for, however, my boss wants the picture to be a much larger version of itself when the mouse hovers over it. Can you help with that and direct me on how the best way to achieve that?

Hi again. I also tried the plug in: ak Book Style - which may serve the mouseover option to show medium picture, however when I apply it I get the following error:

Warning: known_script is deprecated jquery themes/default/js/jquery.packed.js in D:\Hosting\7472609\html\photos\piwigo\include\template.class.php on line 547

Can you please let me know what I need to do?

well this plugin is not for piwigo 2.x. it's written... but I wanted to update it ^^ you're lucky

the release is not yet official (I can't post on the extension manager because it's not my extension) but just for you, a prerelease version ^^

I installed it and don't receive that top error anymore. Only a couple small issues tho:
I lose the menu icons on the top right corner:

and

on this feature in the Main Configuration on the plug in: "Event to show medium picture. Click Mouseover", it still does not change the medium picture on mouseover.

I'm not sure if the theme is not compatible, or if there's something else I am doing that's interfering with it. (I'm still learning.) :)

Can you please let me know?

the theme you're using has no icon so you don't see any of them

please try an other theme and tell me if everything is ok

ps: you get me hungry with your pics !

Hahaha! Yeah, we do a lot of work with convenience stores in Arizona and take a ton of pictures at each site. Because of this we easily accumulate hundreds of pictures on each job. That's why my boss wants to have the rollover feature for our client that way they don't have to click through hundreds of pictures when they review work completed.

I'll try changing the current theme template, which should take care of the icon issue.

What's more important to him though is that we still don't get the preview picture to change when I mouseover other thumbnails.

I tried changing a theme and added in the CSS code for the image popup, but it didn't work either.

Please help! :) Again, I really appreciate your assistance.

first change online the theme and put the option as "mouseover" : I want to see why it's not working

but a detail : with that new way, you'll need to have light picture with a medium "web size". don't use full hd or 1024x700 pictures : your pages will take one minute long to load ^^

Hi flop25!

I changed the theme and now when you mouseover the thumbnail, then all the thumbnails lightup and that's it. Also, when I checked the plugin, there's a big exclaimation mark on next to it...

As for the css style I sent you, YES! I would be very grateful if you would help me implement that style with the title posted under each thumbnail too. If we can do that, then that would be all I need and my boss would be happy with me, and I get to keep my job. :)

in fact the plugin works very well ^^ but you've put the same picture so you can't see the changes ;D
try with different pict pls, because this solution is much better for your users than the other one
