Linux Magazine: Piwigo and ReGalAndroid
Hi Piwigo users,
Here comes a new article on Linux-Magazine by Dmitri Popov (who owns a nice Piwigo gallery).
The full title of the article is DIY Mobile Photo Sharing with Piwigo and ReGalAndroid.
Android is an operating system for mobile phones based on Linux. There are many smartphones using Android (more than iPhone).
ReGalAndroid is an Android application that let you browse and upload photos in your Piwigo photo gallery, read more on [Forum, topic 16851] ReGalAndroid : a Piwigo Android client. It was written by Anthony Dahanne and shares source code with Jiwigo, a desktop client for Piwigo.

Great news. It's good to see Piwigo getting well deserved press. It's a great project.
I'll have to check out ReGalAndroid again. I had no idea it could post images to a Piwigo gallery I thought it could only view them.
I've considered writing a simple Piwigo Uploader for Android. ReGalAndroid might do everything I need though. If not it'll be a good point of reference if I do decide to write the app. Yah open source!

Hey this is very cool news this article about Piwigo and ReGalAndroid !
yep bjordan, ReGalAndroid is not perfect, far from it, but you know, open source also means collaboration, so you could definitely give a hand on making ReGalAndroid better !
I welcome all contributions and contributors !
