LOCK TABLE ---> change to --> SELECT * FROM TABLE WITH (nolock)

LOCK TABLE ---> change to -->   SELECT * FROM TABLE WITH (nolock)

Good night ...

As you know, piwigo block tables while doing updated pictures, or a quick synchronization.

In my case when trying to synchronize 1,700,000 images and 60,000 categories about this become really slow.

As a solution I've been reading that mysql can do the following ...

I put it to the attention of developers piwigo.

Please take the time to watch this website.
http://www.itecsoftware.com/with-nolock … -for-mysql

I appreciate any answers or suggestions to my application.
I do this in order to improve performance in piwigo.

I understand that I have a large database and continues growing rapidly.

Think it's possible such improvements in the consultations to try to do something with the lock tables'?
