With last version of Piwigo & [extension by plg] Community

Don't think he was asking a question. To enable user uploads and user album creation install and activate the latest "community" plugin. Then in admin panel of the plugin you can set what users/groups can upload and if they can or cannot create new albums.

When I upgraded my test site to piwigo 2.2.4 from 2.2.3, I lost the link to upload photos. [extension by plg] Community Plugin does not say that it is compatible with Piwigo version 2.2.4 (Revision 2.2.L)

The plugin is compatible with version v2.2.4 Piwigo ;-)

Have just upgraded my main gallery (under construction) to Piwigo 2.2.4 and no problems this time. I did take the precaution of deactivating community plugin during upgrade which I hadn't done on previous upgrade.

On the extensions page, it states that the Community plugin only supports 2.2.3. Yet Gotcha states that it is compatible with 2.2.4.
Gotcha, as I am very new to this and don't want to screw up, is it safe to upload the plugin and install it manually?
Thanks.

2.2.x are minor release : only bug correction or (very) minor features are added

After my Test Installation I used the latest version for my site and I do not have the Photo upload option and do not have the contact option in the Menu.
The test Install uses: New Install:
Piwigo 2.2.4 2.2.5
Community Plugin 2.2 l 2.2 l
Contact form 1.2.4 1.2.4
PHP 5.2.14 5.3.3-7+squeeze1
mysql 5.0.91 5.1.49-3
I am not sure if the PHP and mysql version matters.
On the Test install everything works fine on the new one no upload and contact function.
I would downgrade my install if I knew how to do?
Is this problem seen somewhere?
I reinstalled piwigo and then the community plugin and it worked, but as soon as i installed the advanced menu manager it stopped working

Yes, I use Advanced Menu Manager r3.1.3 as well.
In the settings of this plugin under Menu Management and Content of Menu and Special (I hope my German translation is right) there is also no text for Contact form and Photo upload.
So it looks like somewhere is a bug or version incompatibility.
Yes, that's right : plugin Advanced Menu Manager often removes the Contact Form link (and now I see it sometimes removes the "Add photos" link :-/)
