First, this is a great product - thank you to the people and teams that put it together!
I have this installed and working properly. I have the Community plugin installed and working, so that I can allow authenticated users to upload new photos to my gallery, etc. But it appears that non-admin users won't have the ability to "batch" edit their photos - especially assign titles, descriptions and tags.
Is there any way I can allow authenticated users to do _almost_ as much as the admin can (except things like change the author, etc) without actually giving them admin access?
I have the same question. Without giving my users the ability to edit uploaded images and assign titles, descriptions and tags I can't use Piwigo. Pity as otherwise it's a great image system.

have you test [extension by plg] Community

I enabled and activated the community plugin. All this seems to is allow users to upload images and create albums. No where do I see any options for my users to edit the title etc.
I would have expected that when you select an image to upload that in addition you would get a screen with image title and description. That's how it works with Invision Power Board's Gallery that I use on one of my web sites. I just need a more powerful gallery for another site I'm setting up.
If I can resolve allowing users an easy way to give their images a title, description and assign tags I can use Piwigo otherwise I need to look elsewhere.
Thanks

Yes, I read the docs but I can't find how can give authorization to use the batch manager. I'm using this config right now:
family: edit_image_of: any delete_image_of: own upload_image_to: sub
ah ok
Icy Picture Modify doesn't offer Batch Manager access, only picture edition and deletion
looks like 3DKiwi wanted and for now you should do with that :-)
