Is there already anyone using Windows 7 (32 bit) and ploader?
I tried 2.0.3a and 2.0.5b. During the installation I get and Applicationerror (0xc0000005).
I tried admin rights on installation and kompatibility mode, without success.

What do you mean by installation ? In 2.03a pLoader has a setup application ( Inno setup ) and in 2.0.5 pLoader is released as zip file : 2 very different processes !

Thats right. First I downloaded and tried do start the exe file in bin directory. After always getting errors I downloaded the 2.0.3 and installed it. Same error. After starting it last 20-30 seconds before the application error occurs. I'll try a reinstall.

Ok, today I tried again with the newest version. But when I click on bin/ploader.exe nothing happens. So I tried again in a virtual machine where Windows XP is running. Same issue, after click nothing happens.
What I'm doing wrong? Maybe a wrong entry in the ini file?
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks
Alex

Try this : search for a pLoader.dat file and delete it with its containing folder. Then restart pLoader 2.0.7c.

Where shall this ploader.dat file be? I searched through my whole harddisk without finding anything.

I don't know if this helps. I have pLoader 207 ( Win7 32bit ) and under C:/Users/<your user>/AppData/Local ther is a .ploader directory. Maybe this has to be removed but that's just a guess
AppData as well as .pLoader are hidden by default so you have to make sure that the explorer shows also hidden files in order to see them.
Cheers

I didn't install ploader. I downloaded the zip, extracted it and run bin/ploader.exe. There's no installation routine in this version. So there's neither a folder where you described.

I did the same as you just the zip. So i guess that folder gets created when you first run pLoader. Did you check the task panel if there isn't any zombie pLoader ev running ?

You are right, if they do not exist, pLoader creates these folder and files at startup, and they are hidden by default.
Under XP the location is : C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\.pLoader
and for Vista/Seven : C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\.pLoader

I had a look on the Windows 7 PC also at the Win XP installation. On both there were no folders from ploader. It's really strange. I'll test it on my laptop tomorrow on work.

same here - I tried it on XP [sp3] and absolutely nothing. It doesn't install at all.
the exe file in the bin directory just sits there, no action on click or double click or open etc.
ergo, there are no files created in C: drive either.
Tried just about everything, rebooting, I am the administrator, show hidden files and so on.
I see that I am not the only one that cannot install this app. :(:(

It worked fine for me. I have windows 7 32bit
When ever it has been troublesome opening it, I delete the dat file as mentioned above, I also go in and delete the temporary thumbnail folder. This allways works.
But since you have problems even starting it once, maybe it has something to do with rights?
Logged in as administrator? Try right click on pLoader.exe > properties > compatibility and set to winXP or Vista. Oh, and if you have Skype open, try closing it.
Good luck

I deleted the C:/Users/<your user>/AppData/Local/ploader folder and its started working again :)

I am now having trouble startin pLoader. It worked fine until I upgraded to 2.3.3. Now when I launch pLoader I get the login prompt but then when I log in, the app exits without any message. It was working about 10 minutes ago right before upgrading so I am pretty sure it is related.
