Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

Thanks for the reply, I meant no insult at all, hopefully you didn't take it that way. I know just how difficult iOS dev can be as I've tried it myself. Keep up the great work!

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

Please support https (ssl) in your URL scheme. I like to add photos when I'm away from home, but don't want to send my login/password unsecure over http. I don't have http activated at all, because it's a no-go.

Thank you.

Hi there , is it possible to allow multiple add selected photo at one go , rather than select and add one pic at one time? Really painful to do mass transfer from iPhone

I just want to ask, if you have any plans, that i can just view photos in my gallery with your app. Or did i miss somthing? The app is just for uploading images?

Best regards

As far as I know the app is only for uploading images but
if you use Safari on your iPhone and got to your Gallery
the new Mobile Theme is automatically loaded.
It looks very good!  What I did was save an icon to my home screen for it.

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

I would suggest it would be very easy to add another option to link to your gallery.
After you "Upload" it offers you the option "See photos in your gallery"
and this links to the Mobile Theme and shows the album you have uploaded.

I would like a similar facility "Gallery" which would perhaps be at the top on the right of the "Photos" screen
just like "Photos" is at the top on the right of the "Album" screen.

This would give us one good app where we can view the gallery even without uploading anything!

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

I too would love to see the ability to access existing images in the mobile app.  Piwigo is awesome and I would love to completely replace my Flickr account with Piwigo and keep all my images on my own server.  However, I need the ability to easily pull images from the gallery back to my iPad for use in other applications.  And while the mobile theme is very nice for viewing images, I haven't found a way to download an image using the mobile theme to my device.  I have to switch to the desktop theme, which can be a little cumbersome.

Wow this would be a killer feature it is really a pain just to be able to do a single step by step adding for multiple photos!

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

According to my view, There are hundreds of iPhone applications are available for editing and sharing the photos. The time spent on photo and video applications per active user increased 89% to 231 minutes per month between October 2011 and March 2012 and a massive 166% since July 2011. Please produce some more attachments about the topic for view detail information.

Just a question... aren't the EXIF datas in an iPhone photo not transferred?

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

Hello,

I've just recently installed the iPhone piwigo and am unable to connect to my gallery to upload or edit..etc.

One thread suggested that there was a bug if I attempted to login with a Webmaster account.. however, even changing the username/pass to a regular Admin.. didn't seem to fix the issue.

I can connect and Administrate my gallery from the URL no issue.

However, it just seems the app is unable to connect!?   There is no feedback as to why, no log or way for me to troubleshoot

Can anyone give me some suggestions as to why this might be happening?

Iphone 4, iOS 5.1.1
Piwigo version: 2.4.4

Thanks for any advice.

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

I'm having the same problem - it will not connect no matter what administrative account I try.  I just keep getting the Error: Unable to connect message, and it pops up really quickly.  I'm using iOS 6.0.1.  Can anybody come up with some troubleshooting suggestions?

Re: Piwigo for iOS, iPhone/iPad application

Oops, sorry, I found this post after I posted here:

http://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=21023

It was the conflict between the User Info Tracking pluging and the iphone app.  Once I disabled the plugin I was able to connect.

Thanks for your time and effort working on the app!  It's really helpful!
