If you've been reading this forum lately, you've seen that I've been a royal pain by asking a ton of questions. I've been converting my existing photo albums on my existing site to Piwigo. Right now I've completed converting 14 years of cruising/sailing photos. This consists of about 5000 images in about 330 sub-albums and is extensively indexed by Google due to all of the <head> info that I imbed (which still needs to be resolved).

This turned into a much larger effort than I anticipated as I decided to geo-code all of the images with lat/long positions with GeoSetter. It appears that PH has problems reading the geo-coding of some of my older images, and I'm still working that issue.

This is only about 1/2 of the images that I need to load. I have to re-link my current site to the Piwigo gallery. Then I'll be starting on my diving photos and continue on to personal images.

I have had a quick look at your photos - the most recent - and I like the way the gallery is structured.
It looks good with the Stripped Theme. Did you add the Tabs yourself?
The map option works well too.
Well done for getting to grips with Piwigo so fast!

Hi Geoff.

There appears to be a problem with links on your gallery.

When I clicked any thumbnail in 'Coconut Grove' or 'Key Largo' I was getting a totally different photo.
eg clicked 'Downtown Coconut Grove' thumbnail and got a photo of 'Lionshead Bridge'.

So your thumbnail links are not right???

Or is it me??

Thanks for the info. Just this morning I changed the URL format by inserting

$conf['question_mark_in_urls'] = false;
$conf['php_extension_in_urls'] = false;
$conf['category_url_style'] = 'id-name';
$conf['picture_url_style'] = 'file';

into my local/config/config.inc.php in order to get a SEO friendly URL. That seems to have broken some of the images. I just took it out and the images in question seem to be correct now.

After looking at this I determined that the issue was there there were multiple files with the same name. This only occurred in older photo albums. To resolve this I changed the above to:

$conf['picture_url_style'] = 'id-file';
