in the search would it be possible to show ONLY the tag results ..not the album results ,as this shows other which are not relevant to the search....or have the option to select your preference

the advantage of the quick search is... to be quick :D it's a non-sense to add options, right ?

yes the quick search....only want the tag results to show..... not the albums, otherwise results show that are not relevent in album

If I understand what mersey is asking for, he/she doesn't want the "Album results" to display. If that's what mersey is asking for, I completely disagree. To me the albums that contain the keywords/tags is very important information.

OK check this ..I want to search for example Navion the first 14 photos ok then the rest are irrelevant

I don't understand why you're getting the results that you are. On my site I have ~7,000 images, 500 defined tags/keywords and 12,000 image/keyword pairs. When I do a quick search, it only returns images that contain all or part of the keyword.
For example, if I search for the term "cay" (meaning island), I get back images for "hat cay", "halfmoon cay", "cay sal", etc. I don't get unrelated/extra images. By any chance do you have "navion *" as a keyword for those images?

i pressume i'm getting irrelevent ones beause some photos may be in the albums tag.....thats why i suggested it would be good to have the option to choose one or the other tags/albums or both if you prefer .

I don't think that you can tag albums, only images. I would suggest that you use the edit function to look at the unrelated images to see what the tags are.
