Hi everybody,
I'm new in this forum and I'm asking to you an help to improve my web site.
I would to use "patchwork" system to show my photos in Internet.
My request is the following: Is it possible to have more than one photo with big sizes?
I mean: with the standard program, I can have just the first photo, bigger than others.
I would to have, more than one photo large, in the same "patchwork" grid.
So watching my web site, you can find 5-6 large photo mixed with many other smaller.
Can you help me?

not a direct solution but the theme [extension by flop25] Stripped & Columns offer such a display
otherwise I used to read the code of Gthumb, it's very complex, I don't think it's easily tweakable

I have see the theme you got me.
Now I will verify if is possible to use it just at the thumbnail page of sub-album and not in the category pages.
I read that you have "studied" the code of Gthumb, in your opinion is it possible modify it using CSS or is it necessary to operate on the real code?
Or better, do you know another plug-in that offers the possibility to create a manual "patchwork" with small and large photos in the same grid?

I know only Gthumb
I didn't say I studied the code, I only read it, not the same thing, I works with a complex javascript function which compute each thumbnail size and dynamic cropping
I can ask P@t if it's tweakble
