Social buttons plugin

Hi mistic,
I have a suggestion for the social buttons plugin. It would be good if there can be a way the admin can toggle on/off each button to select which buttons to use.

Also maybe add a reddit button as well.

Thanks for consolidating the bottons into one plugin by the way.

Re: Social buttons plugin

I would also like to congratulate on great plug in and thank you.

For some reason in my "stripped" theme the buttons are not leveled. Is there a way to line them up?

Please keep it going - add Stumble upon, Linked-In and of course Reddit!

Re: Social buttons plugin

I don't want to add more services, each service is one more javascript which slows down page load

there is [extension by tiico] AddThis for a complete list of all imaginable service, perhaps it will be updated

Re: Social buttons plugin

Thanks Mistic,

I am not personally big fan of the AddThis - got it removed from my WP blogs. What about leveling?

This is what I am talking about: http://www.ottawastockimages.com/pictur … ategory/27

Re: Social buttons plugin

each buttons comes with is own DOM, facebook and twitter use iframe, google sort of DOM modification, pinterest and tumblr are just images

and each add extra invisible borders or margin, I don't know how to display them on the same level

Re: Social buttons plugin

but what I notice is that none of these buttons works (except facebook) because of an invisible top <div> (.hideTab) in the theme...

I removed it with Firebugs and saw no difference, what is the purpose ?

Re: Social buttons plugin

Thank you Mistic,

I appreciate your help and your openness. We all need to understand that the open source projects are based on the good will of the team members.

Wordpress developers worked out good working Social plug-ins like Sociable or Sharexy. Let's see if the Piwigo team mints something of the sort. Go Piwigo!

Exactly! Thanks for pointing it out. I guess I will just deactivate the plug in. Nice try though.

Re: Social buttons plugin

Bonjour,
Merci
Philippe

Re: Social buttons plugin

I would suggest an option to disable each button on home/index pages and only show on picture pages.

Re: Social buttons plugin

Thank you very much mistic.

Also I believe I have found a bug. The twitter small image url is directing to http://domain.com/picture/plugins/Socia … _small.png and resulting in 404. I believe the /picture should not be part of the URL.
