Fatal error: Call to undefined function flush_page_messages() in /home

I tried doing the automatic upgrade from Piwigo 2.4.7 to Piwigo 2.5. I wasn't prompted to enter my password. A blank page was loading, and after continuing to load eventually returned with the following error:

Notice: Undefined index: start in /home/directory1/sub-directory2/piwigo/index.php on line 38

Notice: Undefined index: section_title in /home/directory1/sub-directory2/piwigo/index.php on line 119

Notice: Undefined index: start in /home/directory1/sub-directory2/piwigo/index.php on line 271

Notice: Undefined index: start in /home/directory1/sub-directory2/piwigo/index.php on line 285

Fatal error: Call to undefined function flush_page_messages() in /home/directory1/sub-directory2/piwigo/index.php on line 336

Now I can't access my Piwigo site. Is there a way for me to correct the upgrade or revert to the previous Piwigo version?

Thanks! The manual update process worked fine, and my Piwigo site is back up.
