keyword from Metadata

Utilizing EXIF data, is there any way to have an keyword created and/or assigned to an image based on the metadata of that image?

Specifically what I'm looking for is when an image is uploaded, in the exif is the model of camera used and the lens, I would like keywords assigned to that image based on those specific data items.

@plg, I noticed in the thread below, you said you imported a number of photos with the camera/lens information as tags, how did you do that?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Re: keyword from Metadata

Would be great if this would work.

One could easily create keywords from author, model, ...
and therefore easily navigate through all images of one camera (or even a special lens if the metadata is available).

Are there any news on how to achieve this?

Re: keyword from Metadata

You mean by hand?

That would take quite some time for all my images...
... i would really like to batch process them in some way (like: If model is Nikon D600 tag with keyword "Nikon D600")
... as far as I know batch processing in piwigo is not able to filter by exif data like camera model (correct me if I am wrong).
