do you mean, i enter this in local file editor??? (I know this looks wrong, but correct LHS???)

$conf['ext_imagick_dir'] = '/usr/local/bin/convert/';

Mate, tried both... nothing is giving watermarks... 
Hey if watermarks are not produced, then multisize will also not work,... right?

Sorry sorry I forgot the main issue there : your imagemagick version is quite old and so does not give watermark
