batch downloader

i got the batch downloader installed so people can first create a collection and then download.

however, i don't want them to be able to choose the size of the picture they download.

i want them only to be able to download the original size.

at the moment they can choose between small, middle, sellmax, autosize and original.

any way of getting rid of that selection possibility ???

ow yeah, complete noob on this things ( just started 2 days ago )

Re: batch downloader

Hello!

I also want to force my visitors to download ONLY "original size"!
Why: Only the original size contains all Metadata and copyright information.

How should I must configurate the plugin?

Thanks

Re: batch downloader

Hello, here is another similar question about the batch downloader.

I do not want that people download original files from public albums, but only from private albums. The idea is to disable at all the download of original files from public albums. I have been working on this for the default 'download-this-file' option, and we are close to the solution.

Now comes my question about the plugin 'batch downloader'. If I want to disable 'batch downloader' for public albums, is the procedure similar to disabling single download? Or is the plugin using different approach compared to the default download procedure?

I hope my question is rational. Any answer is appreciated

Re: batch downloader

Hello

as I don't know how you disable download I can't really answer you

Did you read the message saying that only registered users can use the plugin ?

Re: batch downloader

also in include/functions.php (get_set_info_from_page) there a trigger "batchdownload_get_set_info"
here you can interact with the $set array and change the "size" key if needed

for example if the user clicks on "original" he will be forced to download "xsmall" in certain conditions

Yes I know. The problem is that the registered users can batch download also any publicly visible album, which is not good. They should be able to batch download only permitted private albums.

EDIT: I mean the original files, when I say albums.

Re: batch downloader

Thanks. But I think that it is not just a "matter of usage", but more broadly a question of Piwigo's purpose and architecture. I think I will raise a more broad question some day in a new  thread.
