How to sync metadata from webupload ?
I have an piwigo install with around 20000 Pictures (all pics uploaded via web upload).
I have changed some iptc tags at this pictures and reuploaded it and try to sync it (overwritten all files at /upload/ folder).
If I upload a new pic via web upload it recognize the iptc tag without an problem -> iptc tags are ok.
So i try the "admin.php?page=site_update&site=1" sync but this only work with the old /galleries/ folder.
This folder is never used because all pics are uploaded via web (0 pictures in it).
How can i update/sync the metadata of this pictures ?
To update via "admin.php?page=photo-1234&cat_id=1234" works but 20000 pictures to update through this is methode is impossible for me (this would take ages).

Sorry I don't use the web upload often and I have never to update metadata. Don't use or either

Hi CvH. Do you mean that you re-upload 20000 pictures for updating the IPTC tags on the Piwigo database? I wonder if there is the way to sync metadata using an uploader, wihout physically uploading the images, so that an uploader would only sync the metadata.
