Looking back on page1 of this thread, I see I listed some other issues which I will revisit when 2.6 is released.  I'm now more interested in Smartpocket on the iPad...

I found an even better and simpler way, using the fancy new Admin Tools plugin.
On my iPad, I selected Smart Pocket Theme...
