How to assign groups to photos

Some of my albums are organized by month, and individual photos therein shall be accessible by members of different goups. For example, in album "Jan" all photos can be viewed by group "A" - no problem as it can be set as private and assigned to group "A". However, only photos 1-20 shall be seen by group "B", photos 21-40 by group "C" and photos 15-30 by group "D". How can I accomplish this?

Additonal question: is there a way to display a list of photos within an album and bulk-edit them? I loved that function in "Gallery" as it can save a lot of time. If not implemented yet, any chance for the future?

Thanks!

You can't. Permissions on individual photos are managed by "privacy level" and not with groups. I would have liked to tell you that you could use groups but for now it doesn't work this way.

This is what the "caddie" was designed for. Add your photo selection in the caddie and then go to [Administration > Photos > Caddie].

Re: How to assign groups to photos

Privacy levels do help, since they are hierarchical and I can only assign "Admin Family etc", but not "B" only or "A C". Maybe you have a different solution for this?

And yes, the caddie is what I was looking for. I had overllooked the second tab...

Re: How to assign groups to photos

The permissions with group/user per picture will not be implemented: Gallery3 removed due to heavy resources consuming, and we implemented the simple pyramidal level of privacy due to that issue
