how can I Rename "category" into "album"? or better "painter"

Hi vaserra,
Where do you see "category" instead of "album" ? Since Piwigo 2.5 (or is it 2.4 ?), "category" is no more used.
Maybe are you talking about a plugin ?

Ok, it's about "category" in URL.
I'm not sure replacing it by "album" could be done easily. Maybe with URL rewriting ?
Take a look to .htaccess features for URL rewriting.

I'm not an expert in URL rewriting but here is a simple explanation : http://www.addedbytes.com/articles/for- … beginners/
By example, you can create a .htaccess text file containing something like this:

Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^category/$ album/
And put the .htaccess file in the home directory of your site. If you have an existing .htaccess file, simply add these lines (backup the original file for safety before modification!).
I've not tested this code. It could not work. In that case, simply remove these lines from existing .htaccess or delete .htaccess if it was newly created.
