The config parameter is:
$stripped['maxThumb'] = 999;
I have mine set to 999 to stop paging.

there isn't a user interface, but there is a config file which you can change. I did change it to 500 on a previous piwigo instance, but that didn't fix it either.
Now if you put GThumb at 500, you will have a consistent page up. However in my opinion 500 thumbs/page is way too much (obviously it will be hard to find your thumbnail on the page).
Personally I'm always using 25 thumbs per page. TScroller can double that for the session if the screen is very wide. However I realize now that doubling it is useless because of stripped setting it later on to what it wants ...

Looks like the topic is not so easy to solve. ;-)
I will give you another example: If I'm on a long list of flickr photos, click on one photo and then go back to the overview thumbnail side (with the browser back arrow) - then I come exactly back on the position where I left the gallery. This is how it should work.
Try it out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hagens_wor … 708935120/
Thanks and please don’t hesitate if you have questions.
Best, Hagen

What happens for you using the browser back arrow with Piwigo?

I have already looked at flickr in the past and I think I know how it works. However I could not find an acceptable solution that is fast enough (flickr is soooo sloooow), works with piwigo urls and which is compatible with all kind of plugin/themes. I will try to look again into this.

Hello rvelices,
thanks for your update and sorry for the late feedback.
Maybe I did something wrong - but the problem, that I don't jump back to the position where I left the gallery still exist?
Cheers, Hagen

Are you using browser back button (or backspace) ? As I dont have acces to your site to test, ca you tell me if it works fine on mine ? (just to see if we are using the same "procedure")

Hello rvelices,
If I use now the browser back button, the album thumbnail site jumps back to the beginning and NOT to the position where I clicked on the photo.
I reactivated the test account for you.
Thanks, Hagen

Very strange the javascripts in your plugin directory are not up to date as if the update was partial or some kind of permission issue.
I suggest completely removing the plugin files and reinstalling

Hello,
I deinstalled the plugin in the admin backend and deleted the complete folder rv_tscroller on the webserver. After this, I reinstalled the plugin again.
But looks like, the plugin doesn't work as it should. Can you please check it again? Which informations do you need to give me support?
Thanks again
Hagen
