Thumbnail size

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I hope I can explain myself in English....

I have a problem with the thumbnail sizes in my album
If you would look at this page : http://www.remember-our-heroes.nl/photo … ategory/13
you will see that the photos are all different sizes especially the width
I tried to change this in the .css folder to width 90px and height 150px, it worked out great, now all the portrait photos are the same width but..... now the landscape are not looking good anymore, they are to small now, due to the 90px .
Is there any code to make a difference between portrait sizes and landscape sizes ?
Or does anyone has another solution ?

Piwigo version: 2.6.2
PHP version: 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.24
MySQL version: 5.1.73-0ubuntu0.10.04.1

Re: Thumbnail size

Thx Paul, just tried it but it doesn't change anything , just the photos inside the folder now look like patchwork, which is nice, but doesn't resolve my issue

Maybe i am making myself not clear, its about the photos which are set as thumbnail on the folders (set as album thumbnail)

Re: Thumbnail size

Yes I see your concern now, I don't believe there is a way to resolve this unless you crop resize your images manually for the best possible fit.

The action I took was to remove the border around the images. see the following page

http://www.michelledaniels.co.uk/photos … categories

I also then created some thumbnails of my own, using an additional page (this needed a lot of custom css etc) rather than the category pages.

see here :-

http://www.michelledaniels.co.uk/photos … e/weddings (scroll to the bottom to see the thumbs)

So there are a number of options but nothing I know that will automatically resolve the issue for you

Regards

Re: Thumbnail size

for album thumbnails you wil have to change the template file itself, using localfile editor, mainpage_categories.tpl

it's gonna be a bit technic but with the help of http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=dev:c … 2.4#how_to and [extension by flop25] flop_style you should manage it

Re: Thumbnail size

Oh wait I forgot you also can use the theme Stripped and Columns, then change its options!
