Flash uploader and https

Hello all in Piwigo How-To and Troubleshooting,

Problem:
I cannot use the Flash uploader when connected to my Piwigo gallery through https.

I can use the Broswer uploader when connected using https. With regular http then both the Flash and the Browser uploader work fine. Https and http use the usual ports.

Steps to repeat:
1: connetct using https:
2: Admin->Photos->Add
3: Select files with Flash uploader
4: Start Upload
5: I get "Filenamexxxx.jpg, IO Error", one error per file selected.

The platform is Linux From Scratch on Intel i7 PC.
uname -a
Linux lfs 3.14.1 #3 SMP Fri Jun 6 17:25:28 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The Apache server use a self-signed certificate.
I have full control of the system. Apache server, PHP and the rest is compiled from source.

I have checked the Apache log files and they contain nothing I can identify which is related to this. There are some instances of https (ssl) and Flash uploader problems when I browse the forum, but I have not managed to solve this problem. I need your help.

Piwigo version
        Piwigo 2.6.3

Environment
        Operating system: Linux
        PHP: 5.5.13 (Show info) [2014-06-26 23:47:24]

        Graphics Library: External ImageMagick 6.8.9-3

Re: Flash uploader and https

Hello flop25,

Thank you for checking this. I did not think of the beta.

The 2.7.0beta1 works for me after an initial test. No issues detected or reported. I got a clean upload.
I used Firefox 29.0.1.

I will do more testing later.

Re: Flash uploader and https

Hello flop25, plg and all,

I tested the desktop interface on a Samsung Galaxy S5 using Chrome. (I did not check the mobile version) and 2.7.0beta1.

Both http:// and https:// worked fine.

I did not check the version numbers of Android and Chrome.

Re: Flash uploader and https

Hello flop25,

I could only select one file at a time using the smartphone. The mobile gave me a selection of alternatives after "+add files" was pressed: "camera", "Videocamera", "voice", "document". I picked "document" and was forwarded to the (camera) file system. I did not use an extra app of any kind besides the chrome browser.

I could not select multiple files using the mobile. This was possible on the PC. However this is probably more a result of my limited Android knowledge. Perhaps a key sequence or an helper app can do this, but I do not know.
