Greetings,

Within the past month I started having trouble with Piwigo. Uploading photos seems to work, but thumbnails are not showing up. The photos will appear, but there are no thumbnails. I have tried uploading photos various ways (FTP, Shotwell, web interface) and the results are the same. The photos I uploaded a month or more ago all look good and have thumbnails. No change in behavior after upgrading to 2.6.3.

I contacted my hosting service and they were no help; they provided the following error that is generated by my site.
PHP Warning: libgomp: Thread creation failed: Resource temporarily unavailable in /****/*****/public_html/friendsoffarmhouse/gallery/admin/include/image.class.php on line 652

Piwigo version: 2.6.3 and 2.6.1
PHP version: 5.4
MySQL version: 5.5.38-35.2-log

I followed this FAQ (http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … es_missing) as you suggested. In the batch manager, most thumbnails are missing. If I right click on one of the missing thumbnails and open in a new tab, it gives a url such as: http://friendsoffarmhouse.org/gallery/i … ab8-th.jpg

But, that jpg does not exist in the upload folder.

If I open a thumbnail that does appear in batch manager, I get the url to the thumbnail such as:
http://friendsoffarmhouse.org/gallery/_ … ca7-th.jpg

If I go to that folder (_data/i/upload etc), the jpg for the missing thumbnails are not there either.

I haven't figured out how to Localfiles Editor yet to generate error logs.

Following the instruction in this FAQ: http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … es_missing

I used the Localfiles Editor to insert this: $conf['enable_i_log'] = true;

Then, I looked at the log file that was generated. This is an example:
