image map on the banner

Hi!

I was wondering if it's possible to add a map to the banner (it is a image). I use a theme called blancmontxl_v2.0
You can see this theme in this website:

www.a1000.org

I can use gimp to create the map, but, where do I need to include the text with the map?

Thank you!

Re: image map on the banner

hello.

I used Gimp to create the map file. Here it is:

<img src="header2.jpg" width="940" height="200" border="0" usemap="#map" />

<map name="map">
<!-- #$-:Image map file created by GIMP Image Map plug-in -->
<!-- #$-:GIMP Image Map plug-in by Maurits Rijk -->
<!-- #$-:Please do not edit lines starting with "#$" -->
<!-- #$VERSION:2.3 -->
<!-- #$AUTHOR:acervo -->
<area shape="rect" coords="717,22,914,195" href="http://www.a1000.org/blog/index.php" />
</map>

Where do I need to insert this piece of code?

Admin > Configuration > General
Main tab > Page banner

and just

<h2>
<img src="header2.jpg" width="940" height="200" border="0" usemap="#map" />
<map name="map">
<area shape="rect" coords="717,22,914,195" href="http://www.a1000.org/blog/index.php" />
</map>
</h2>

Hello!

In the new Piwigo, WHERE is this "Page banner" option?

Or, better to say, where should I put the image map?

Thanks,

Tamas

Dear thanhphan467!

I CAN open my site. :)

On the Admin page there is:

Configuration

        Options
        Menus
        Templates
        Languages
        Themes

However, there is NO "General"...

In the "Options" there are:

    Main
    Photo sizes
    Watermark
    Display
    Comments
    Guest settings

And I do not find "Page banner" ... at all.

So, the question is, in the new version, in Piwigo 2.5.3 ... where is the place I can handle the Banner to put there the ImageMap?

Thanks...

Thanks, flop25 !

(And all of you beforehands...)

YES, it was there... I just missed it... one way or another.
(Mea culpa!)

So, GREAT, the imagemap works fine in the header! Easy and cool.

Merci!
