Local file Synchronization

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

I try to sync a local folder with 4000 sub folders and 30.000 photos. If I start local file sync from web page (Database Synchronization With Files: ./Big_album_flat/) including meta data it takes long time (as expected) but at the end I get an empty page (I think there is a timeout). 30K photos are synced but not all meta data. And If I start the process again it is the same result every time. Is there a command line tool for piwigo to sync local folder without using http or http-api?

thanks,

Ekin Sokmen

Re: Local file Synchronization

Hi, I don't think there's an offline commandline sync command though you could try to look under the hood and see if you can run the corresponding php scripts that do that in cli mode commandline etc

You can also use the local config plugin editor or vi/nano end look for timeout settings in the piwigo config file and maybe even in your php.ini server config file...

Re: Local file Synchronization

If you cannot modify your php timeout in php.ini, you can also sync metadata folder by folder (there is a select with folders to sync) ...
