I'm using your util for just the extract, not Piwigo in particular.

If you have names in Picasa that have chars not A-Z, for instance Swedish chars like ä then the directory that gets output to the text files is not correct.

For Example, this file was created named 'Test Schläpfer.txt'

In it the first line the dir was 'ld Trip 2012-2013\039 - Bolivia'

When actually the real dir name is 'World Trip 2012-2013\039 - Bolivia'

It seems to cut off the first 3 chars.

I'm guessing its a problem with UTF-8 and char sets in the contacts name somehow.

Just thought you would like to know.
