I don't expect miracles.
My Piwigo gallery has been online for years now, but no pictures in the index.
A test site I created with another photogallery CMS shows pictures in the index after a few days.
All these things show me that something is wrong with my piwigo installation.

Do you use the Stripped theme ?
If yes, it's a problem with EXIF metadata and IPTC image

Yes I'm using stripped and columns.
Will have a look on the links.
Thanks a lot. Hope it helps.

Yesterday I changed the theme of my test installation to Modus and today the first pictures are in the Google index!
So it is definitly a issue with the stripped theme.
I read through the Threads you gave me and tried to change the things in the picture.php.
But after the next update the changes will be gone. What about correcting this bug in the stripped theme?

alex did you use $conf['meta_ref'] or did you use something for always displaying the metadata on the pictrue page?
Offline
I didn't change anything for the meta_ref as far as I know. May a plugin did.
In the default.config it is set to true:
// meta_ref to reference multiple sets of incorporated pages or elements
// Set it false to avoid referencing in google, and other search engines.
$conf['meta_ref'] = true;
If it helps you, I can give you access to my server.

Any news on this? For the moment I'm using the theme "Modus", but would go back if the Google issue could solved.
