another new X G3 user
Hello/Hi/Greetings,
I am migrating g3 to piwogo with menaltotopiwogo plugin.
But I cannot get it to import image titles and descriptions. Is there anything else I need to do after the import?
I Use grey dragon on G3, is there maybe some prep that needs to be done in g3 before the import?
has anyone managed to create modules for Joomla to display piwogo?

Hi Ducky,
Welcome to Piwigo :-)
When copying the photos and folders from Menalto Gallery 3 to Piwigo, did you keep exactly the same filesystem organization? The plugin menalto2piwigo relies on file paths to copy the photo properties from Menalto database to Piwigo database.
I don't think the theme is important here but I notify SergeD in case I'm missing a point.

As i have a number of g2-g3 galleries that I', importing.
i copied the full contents on the albums folder into a folder created inside piwogo galleries.
i.e.
piwogo/galleries/yukon/
piwogo/galleries/nwt/
these are the errors i am getting

I added a description to a photo manually to see if it shows and it does not.
Enable template error and am getting 2 errors in admin. (below) And 2 errors on the photo page (below that)
could this be a 2.7 bug? Can i downgrade by adding 2.6 files on top?

looks like this guy had solved the issue, but i don't know what path to prepend, but same issue, same errors.

Ok so I imported the gallery into galleries, (no subfolder), and the descriptions came through. Is there any way to now move the physical albums to a subdirectory without loosing the description?
