Hello Piwigo users on iOS devices,

Hoser alias Spencer Baker has been working hard the last 2 months to create a brand new Piwigo application for iOS. See the project on Github. It is a completely new code, released as version 2.0.

This new app includes many features:

* browse your albums and photos from your Piwigo
* select several photos at once
* upload photos
* create albums and sub-albums
* set album properties
* progress bar on upload
* directly delete photos from Piwigo

The beta-testing can officialy start.

1) What's required for a beta tester to have:

* Running at least iOS 8 (even if the app will be compliant with older iOS)
* Have the TestFlight App installed from the App Store (this is a free application from Apple)

2) What we need from you, the beta tester:

* your Apple Id (the email used in iTunes to buy apps/music/movies). Use our contact form to send it. With a message like:

Hi Piwigo Team, I'd like to beta-test the upcoming version 2.0 of Piwigo for iOS, here is my AppleID ...@...

3) Piwigo Team receives the AppleID and add it to the Testflight program.

4) What the beta-tester has to do after he is invited:

* Uninstall the old version of Piwigo application
* Make sure to have the TestFlight App installed
* Open the email invitation on the iOS device using a mail app: Mail, Gmail...
* Tap on the "Open in TestFlight" button in the email, this will redirect to the Piwigo app inside TestFlight
* Tap Install to install the beta app on the device

5) How to give feedback

* open a new discussion on this forum for each problem/remark. The idea is to be able to mark it as resolved
