Hi all!

I have a slight issue I need to resolve. I have an album which I store various alternate images of a main photo which I am switching between in the picture page when I click on the relevant thumbnails. I only want this album to show images when I click on the thumbnails, as it does now, but not show in the main page.

Is it possible to set something on the album itself to not show on the main page but still allow the pictures to be accessed? I've tried the Private album approach but was unable to get it working whereby it was "hidden" AND the pictures were accessible.

So I can get it to disappear from the regular "album" view, but not from the sidebar menu...

Do you use rv menutree ? This plugin ignores the directive

That was exactly it! Perfect! Now just one "problem". How do I see it when I want to? hehehe

I may not even be doing this the most efficient way. Here's the issue:

a. I like using Wordpress, so I have PiwigoMedia installed;
b. I have an album in Piwigo for some pics that I use once in a while in my posts, so I link over rather than cluttering up my WP media setup;
c. I'd rather that the Web Media folder not show up for guests, just me when logged in as administrator.

So the admin should be able to see it, guests shouldn't see it in list, but PiwigoMedia has to be able to link to it.

* I thought maybe a password protect but PiwigoMedia can't see it or pass a password, and the PWD protect seems like it can be bypassed anyway;

* I tried custom permissions so only an admin can see it, but then PiwigoMedia can't find it; and

* now I've done the above, just hiding it, but then I can't see it either when logged in.

Is this last one the best way to do it, and then when I want to get to it, since I'm logged in anyway, I can go to MANAGE ALBUM, jump to the WEB MEDIA folder, and since the sub-albums aren't hidden, once I'm "in" the folder, I can see everything?
